New logo, same workbench: what DruckLab does now

New DruckLab logo: a solid D with an L cut out of it

DruckLab has a new logo: a solid D with an L cut out of it. That is the whole idea in one mark. D for Druck, L for Lab. The lab now lives inside the print shop.

DruckLab started as a 3D printing workshop. While running it, I kept running into the same jobs nobody likes: quotes, paperwork, social posts, short clips. So I built my own small tools for them. First for our own workbench, then for other businesses.

Two things under one roof

DruckLab now does two things. The lab: AI tools for businesses, built in our own workshop first. The print shop: parts, prototypes and series production.

Before and now: the L sits inside the D

The order matters. The tools were not designed on a whiteboard for a market I had not met. They came out of the daily work of a print shop, and they are now set up for other businesses with the same kind of tasks.

The lab: tools from the workbench

The lab is a small set of AI tools, each built for one specific job:

  • Instant quote calculator
  • Document sorter
  • Post drafting tool
  • Reel cutter

Most of the tools run on computers in the workshop, not in the cloud. That keeps the setup simple and the data close.

The print shop: parts and prototypes

The print shop is where DruckLab started. Parts, prototypes and series production. Every file goes through a printability check before it is printed. The slicer checks every file, so problems show up before the machine runs, not after.

Printed parts on the workbench

That check is not a formality. It is the step that decides whether a part comes off the plate the way it was planned.

Made to fit

The slogan is "Made to fit." Every part and every tool is built for one specific problem. Not a general solution that might cover many cases, but something that fits the task in front of us.

That is also why the logo changed and the workbench did not. The mark is new. The work behind it is the same.

Which task eats your week

I am Manoel. I would like to know which task eats most of your week. Send me a DM on Instagram (@drucklabs) or write via drucklab.com. If it is a job nobody likes, it is probably the kind of thing the lab is for.
